Francesca Marti’s large Dreamer – Alpha Virginis (2019) in mirror-polished aluminium has been permanently installed at the Paseo Andares shopping centre in Guadalajara. Placed on a marble and black stone plinth, the figure is part of the outdoor art collection of the Paseo Andares ARTE project, commissioned in early 2020.»The idea of this installation is to transmit a feeling of balance, peace and dreams … that is what people need,» said Marti’. «Interacting with my Dreamers helps visitors to find an interior balance. This large-scale Dreamer will be remembered as a part of a global world, connected to the busy Paseo Andares area.»
