Between at the new Gerhardt Braun Gallery in Madrid is a group show with works by 18 international artists, including several large-scale works by Francesca Marti’. Taking place from February 23 to May 27, 2023, this will be the third exhibition in the new gallery space, which opened in late 2022 in the heart of the Spanish capital, not far from the Museo Nacional del Prado and the Museo Reina Sofia. The opening of this exhibition has been timed to coincide with the 42nd edition of ARCO Madrid, Spain’s primary fair dedicated to international contemporary art.

18 artists from various countries working with different artistic media are using Gerhardt Braun Gallery Madrid as a meeting point, a space open to the changes of contemporary art that adapts to different artistic media from painting, sculpture, photography and digital art. It is an artistic-cultural mix that extends from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean. It connects different artistic styles from conceptual to expressionism and pop-art.
BETWEEN acts as a link between established and emerging artists.
From Palma de Mallorca to Madrid, this group show in the middle of cultures, styles and artistic techniques follows a concept of synergy that explains how different cultures adapt to each other while respecting their differences, to enter into a process of semantic and spatial interaction.
BETWEEN is an exchange of time, space and creativity without artistic and cultural limits.
