«Face to Face» is a group exhibition with works by 12 contemporary artists at Gerhardt Braun Gallery Madrid, inviting the viewer to explore human connection and facial recognition. In a world where technology often mediates our interactions, this exhibition focuses on the importance of the gaze, expression and direct connection between people. The participating artists use a variety of media, from painting and sculpture to photography, to explore themes such as identity, empathy and the relationship between the individual and society.

Each work presented here is a reflection of the diversity of experiences and emotions we share. From intimate portraits which capture the essence of human vulnerability, to interactive installations that encourage dialogue and reflection, “Face to Face” reminds us that, despite our differences, we all share a common thread: the need to be seen and understood.

With artworks by Chus García-Fraile, Liu Guangyun, Ben Jakober, Andreas Klier, Roman Kuhn, Vanessa Küstner, Leon Löwentraut, Francesca Martí, Heiner Meyer, Hristina Milanova, Hanna Nitsch and Pilar Salvá.
