From June 3 to June 27, 2022, the historic centre of the Dutch town of Oisterwijk will become an open-air museum for the second edition of Art in Oisterwijk. Under the theme of “Praat met mij (Talk with me)”, 50 monumental sculptures by 35 artists from 12 different countries will be exhibited in the town square and parkland. Participating artists include David Cerny, Tony Cragg, Nick Ervinck, Francesca Marti’, Sean Henry, Ilya Kabakov, Geert Koevoets, Bernar Venet and Ronald Westerhuis.  Found in the region of Brabant, Oisterwijk lies in the centre of the triangle formed by the cities of Eindhoven, Tilburg and Den Bosch. The first edition of Art in Oisterwijk took place five years ago, as an initiative set up by landscape architect Bert Huls, who is the current festival director. In 2017, the outdoor event took place over a period of 18 days and attracted about 150,000 visitors.
