Great Artists of Mallorca is a high-end publication currently being produced by Wiesbaden-based photographer Axel Ruske with editor and copywriter Lizzy Rautenberg. It will feature 40 artists who live and work in Mallorca, highlighting how the island is fast becoming one of the prominent contemporary art centres in Europe. After the book project is finalized in late 2024, aligned exhibitions of the portraits are planned in Palma and Wiesbaden in 2025.
